The Duke of Edinburgh's Own Volunteer Rifles Helmet Plate Measuring 2.75 inches in height and 2.2 inches in width,in white metal, comprising; The Star of the Order of the Garter and the Saltire with,to the centre a strapped quoit inscribed "DUKE OF EDINBURGH's OWN VOLUNTEER RIFLES" and to the fretted centre a large thistle with a red clothh background. At the very top is the Ducal Coronet.
To the rear 2 copper plates hold the red cloth background in place and 2 excellent copper lugs,left and right.
A truly handsome badge.

The 10th(Scottish) Battalion,The King's(Liverpool) Regiment Sgt's Bi metal glengarry badge In service from 1908 up until 1937. Measuring just over 2.2inches in Diameter,comprising a quoit composed of 2 large thistles for the bottom and the top seeded and edged inscribed "LIVERPOOL SCOTTISH" with the Saltire behind. All in brass, a Rearing horse above a scroll inscribed "THE KING'S".
To the rear 3 very good copper lugs,one on each side and one at the base.
This is a most excellent example.

The Black Watch(Royal Highland Regiment) or's wm glengarry badge 1902-1937 A most special example of this badge with excellent definition, comprised of; the Star of the Order of the Thistle and the Saltire with,to the centre a quoit inscribed "NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT" with St Andrew and the Cross to the centre. at the bottom a Sphinx with,to the left a scroll inscribed"BLACK"and one to the right inscribed"WATCH". Above is the King's Crown and to the left is a scroll inscribed"THE ROYAL" with one to the right inscribed"HIGHLANDERS".
To the rear 2 excellent copper lugs....a beauty!

The 10th Lanarkshire(Glasgow Highland) Rifle Volunteers silver presentation medal An excellent silver medal,oval in shape and measuring about 1.5 inches by .9 of an inch in width.
On one side ,in high profile is a small badge of the Regiment with lovely detail and on the other side is the information of when and by whom it was won. In the Company competitions of 1893 it was awarded to Colour Sergeant D.M.Clark of "M" Company as "second prize"

Below is the Sphinx with a scroll to the left inscribed"10th" and one to the right inscribed"L.R.V.".
At the top is the Victorian Crown with a scroll to the left inscribed"GLASGOW" and one to the right inscribed"HIGHLANDERS".
To the rear are 2 excellent copper lugs.
An extremely good example of this rare badge.

The Royal West Kent Regiment sweetheart brooch A super brooch from the WW2 period in gilt and rich enamels,measuring just over 1.3 inches in height and a little less in width. Very nice condition with a good strong original pin to the rear.

The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders 9ct gold sweetheart brooch A post 1902 brooch in 9ct gold and excellent blue and red enamels.
The background is formed by the Saltire with an oval strapped quoit in blue enamel and inscribed in gold "THE QUEENS OWN CAMERON HLRS" the centre of the quoit displays a thistle with a The King's Crown above.
Below the quoit is a Sphinx upon a tablet in blue enamel inscribed "EGYPT". At the top of the brooch is a larger King's Crown.
To the rear is a strong original pin and clasp with the makers mark (C.T.& S.)impressed just below the 9ct assaye mark .
A splendid brooch

The Royal Scots Association HM silver lapel badge An extremely fine,excellent silver lapel badge to the Royal Scots Association bearing assaye marks for Glasgow 1909 !
Measuring just .75 inches in height and width. The background is formed by the Star of the Order of the Thistle with St Andrew and the Cross to the centre. Above is a scroll inscribed "THE ROYAL SCOTS" whilst below is a scroll inscribed"ASSOCIATION"
To the rear a button style pin to secure it to the lapel with ,underneath the button is the makers mark"R.W.F." and assaye marks for Glasgow 1909.
A lovely item. Wear it with pride !
