The air gunner,s role in the early Confrontation with the Luftwaffe
was deadly to say at least but these guys did their very,very best and Britains eventual success in the war over here in the air was due to chaps like this...PER ARDUA AD ASTRA .

A very fine Seaforth bonnet or glengarry badge HM 1948 A fine buckled quoit, 1.6ins in Diameter with the inscription" Guidigh an Righ" to the voided centre is a "Royal" Stag's head set upon a torse.
To the rear is an excellent pin and secure clip. Just below is the maker,s mark "T.E." and the Edinburgh Hallmarks for 1948.
