A very good Victorian Piper's Plaid brooch to a volunteer battalion of The Highland Light Infantry comprising,a highly burnished quoit of about 4 inches in Diameter,surrounding a wreath of thistles,in high relief with a Glengarry badge style device to the voided centre depicting the flat imperial Victorian Crown above the bugle and"HLI" with the blank scroll between the base of the bugle and the elephant.
