The Cameronians(Scottish Rifles) Officer's hallmarked silver glengarry badge
A superb WW1 Officer's Silver glengarry badge bearing assaye marks for Birmingham 1915,comprising ; a wreath of thistles surrounding the mullet with a strung bugle below,very nicely fretted.
To the rear 2 silver lugs still showing the "Lion" assaye mark with the full hallmark impressed at the top left of the mullet and further up the makers mark"B&P".
An excellent WW1 badge that has seen some service by some very slight rubbing.
Still a lot of pain along the Clyde Valley since this most famous of Regiments "Marched into history"
