The 1st Aberdeen Rifle Volunteers Officer\'s Victorian silver Plaid brooch
In unmarked hollow silver comprising; a quoit 3.75 inches in diameter bearing a wreath of thistles in high relief. On the outside edge is a smooth scroll and the smaller one at the middle is inscribed \"1st Aberdeen Rifle Volunteers.
To the rear is the original strong pin and clip.
Two blowholes can be seen level with the pin.
