The Queens Own Cameron Highlanders Pipers plaid brooch
A pre 1881 piper's plaid brooch,comprising an oval nickle silver quoit about 2.75 inches by 2.4 inches and inscribed very simply" CAMERON" at the top and at the bottom "HIGHLANDERS"
To the rear a strong original pin and catch.
The rear of the top of the quoit is inscribed "BAND".
A very good pre 1881 item.
