The Royal Scots Fusiliers post 1881 Piper's belt clasp
An absolutely massive yet superb piper's belt clasp,measuring 4.25 inches in width by 3.25 inches in height. The buckle is slightly convex and the four corners have an excellent Fleur de Lys in each corner with the rest of the buckle being covered in thistles,to the centre is a scroll inscribed "THE ROYAL SCOTS FUSILIERS" with a device based on the RSF Officer's badge right in the middle.
To the rear the fixed belt loop is present,loose loop absent and the clip fixing the buckle present.
A nut secures the front device.
In line with pipers traditions this immense item of insignia is in chrome...please note the weight ! 230 grammes !
