The Kelvinside Academy OTC glengarry badge
This OTC badge is as the regular small glengarry badge comprising;A wreath of thistles surrounding the Mullet above a strung bugle with the Letters"KA" at the top of the mullet and joining both ends of the thistle wreath.
To the rear 2 original copper lugs with a very nice patina.
The unit was founded in 1893 as the 4th Bn SR Cadet Corps and in 1908 was renamed as the OTC(Officer's Training Corps)
This is a very nice example of this difficult to find badge
